Class Details for Tokyo American Club (Azabudai)
Advanced Beginners (6 to 10 years old)
Format: This class is similar to our Beginners class with the difference being in the greater amount of detail the gymnasts are able to understand and observe therefore in many cases making their progress in skills development faster. As with the beginners class, we begin with the “I CAN” cheer and a set routine of exercises. The main focus is on tumbling skills at this location with emphasis on four basic mat skills: forward roll, cartwheel, headstand and back handspring. At the end of class all gymnasts come back together for a final “I CAN” cheer and good-byes.
